Perjalanannya bukan terus ke Miri, tetapi berhenti semalam di Bintulu untuk berehat dan memulihkan badan. Tempat penginapannya amat elok dan apa yang lebih elok adalah ia menyediakan perkhidmatan WiFi yang percuma. Amat jarang bertemu dengan tempat penginapan yang ditawarkan dengan harga yang murah tetapi ia turut menyediakan perkhidmatan WiFi. 

Perjalanan Sibu ke Bintulu amatlah mencabar dengan jalannya agak berlubang-lubang menyebabkan sukar mengawal kenderaan kerana terpaksa mengelak lubang-lubang yang besar serta boleh menjahanamkan kenderaan. 

Bagaimanapun, perjalanan dari Bintulu ke Miri amat lancar tanpa sebarang masalah. Cuma kita perlu bersabar apabila mengiringi kenderaan-kenderaan berat dan panjang serta mengambil peluang apabila ingin memotong kenderaan itu dengan selamat. 

Buat masa kini perjalanan di Miri hanyalah di lokasi-lokasi berdekatan sahaja. Belum ada rancangan untuk ke mana-mana lagi. Mungkin ke taman negara atau ke tepi pantai. Namun cuaca yang sentiasa hujan menghalang perjalanan yang seterusnya.

Dua tiga hari ini aku takde mood nak pergi mana-mana. Nak keluar pun dengan best friends sahaja yang datang jauh. Yang lain taknak buat apa-apa. Cuma duduk rumah tengok cerita yang telah didownload.

Life’s hard for me lately. Nothing really works especially when it comes to work. I love my job actually but the pay is sucks. I really can’t live with that kind of pay. I’ve been working for 8 years coming to 9 this March, and I have nothing to be proud of. No house, no savings, still the same old me. Did I choose the wrong profession or am I stuck in a time loop that may freeze me in that dimension forever. I can’t let loose and I am doom to be old without anything. Litterally.

I am thinking of moving on to the next available job that pays good and it can satisfy me mentally. I am thinking of relocating myself somewhere other than my own town and looking for something or some work that pays alot. Really alot.

I’m also thinking of moving to education industry but to be a school teacher is not my choice. Maybe a lecturer in a local university… but to do that I need to get my master degree. Can’t I just teach without my master’s degree. I’m not really interested to become a professor, but just an ordinary lecturer. Seek and I my find it. I am still seeking, and I am going to change my future for the next 10 years to come.

Maybe I will consult the crossroad demon to make sure my dream came true. If there’s any of them exist.

Selamat hari raya.

It was a well spent holiday as I was spending it with my two friends and we rented an inexpensive car just to drive in and around KK. We need that car because we were staying in Tune Hotel inside 1 Borneo and the location of that place was very far from the town area. Having a car was an advantage because we move a lot and having the freedom of going anywhere in and near KK especially in Kundasang to watch the magnificent Mount Kinabalu.

Going for a vacation on that particular week was a must for me because I was in the mist of doing design for a book and the people who wanted the book to finish didn’t do their work properly as there were mistakes up until the book was printed. It was a stressful week for me as I was doing and redoing revisions for that book until 4 am. It made my head wanna explode.

Enough with that anyway. Back with my tale in Sabah… 1 Borneo, the newest shopping complex in Sabah is the biggest shopping complex I’ve ever seen. And compared to our new The Spring in Kuching, relatively it’s too small even to make a comparison. I felt in love with 1 Borneo even though its still in the process of filling its shops with tenants.

The fun part was, we manage to watch movies in it’s GCS with the ticket of RM9 per person and with less crowd compared to KL and more comfortable to Kuching cikai cineplex, I think it was a well spent money.

Me and my friends are planning to come back to Sabah for another longer trip compared to our previous vacation. Can’t wait until next year and I think 1 Borneo will be fully operational for us to explore.

well it’s been a while since i visited this blog and to tell you the truth, i haven’t migrated to another blog and leave this blog unattended. i’m just busy and lazy. more to lazy i guess.

can’t believe that half a year passed and nothing much really happen (to me of course). life goes on. i me a few friends who visited me in kuching. they come and go and life goes on.

work has been alot and i can’t really cope with to the extend that i need to switch off my hp just to take a rest. not to say that i hate doing my work, but doing it until late night is not my idea.

i changed job this few months. not working in the press industry anymore. it more to astronomy and education. yup, we have a planetarium here in kuching and i’m very proud of it. it’s not much but it’s all we have.

but, to the truth, i really miss the media industry. i sometimes preached about it when tutoring in my classes. talking about  my class, i got a few assignments to read and see if it good enough to receive good grades. i hope i can regularly update this blog just to satisfy myself that i am still writing, but not writing to be publish in the newspaper.

My initial plan was to jalan-jalan in KL, but as the clouds gets darker, it would be best just to stay indoor. I’m not really a fan of window shopping when you’re broke, not really broke, but I do need the money for something else. It’s been like 5 days in KL and it’s a lot for me. I’m getting tired of KL. Maybe because I’m in this city not for a holiday, but just to attend a course.

Did not bother to contact my friend in KL but only one. We went to KLCC the day before and that shopping complex was pack. People was like ants and it’s too crowded for me. I need space just to breathe. If I do contact my other sets of friends in KL, they will really take me somewhere for a midnight snacks or teh tarik. I not really in a mood for that because my course ends nearly at 11 each night. So, when I arrived in my room, I can’t really do anything  but sleep because I’m dead tired.

The course was very informative as now I know how to use a few different telescope. I did manage to catch a glimpse of orion nebula using one of the telescope. It was an eye opener when you really have the chance to look at the nebula with your own eyes.

Tomorrow’s my flight at 6 pm. It’s too late since I have enough of KL. Really tiring. I wish I can just change my flight schedule to an earlier time. But, since I’m using AirAsia, I don’t think it will happen. Maybe I will lepak at MidValley tomorrow.

Given up – Linkin Park from Minutes to Midnight

Gosh, been watching Ocean’s 12 and 13 put me in a strange mood of planning something that may or may not materialise the way Danny and his friends did it.

I’ve been playing senarios in my head on what will I do when I finally arrive in KL. I haven’t decide if I’m planning to use MAS or AirAsia. AirAsia is a bit cheaper by RM58, but you can eat in MAS. But MAS now is lacking of good service eg. always delayed. But I’m not going for a meeting. Its just a short holiday.

Hmm… okay, most of my friends are heading to Langkawi. And yes, I am planning to go to Langkawi also. I don’t know how am I going to do it but like I said, I’ve been playing this senarios in my head like waiting in Pudu, using the bus to Kedah and using the express. Deja Vu. Yup if this going to happen, I may going to relived my trip to Langkawi again. But this time on my own expenses.

I did checked the price on MAS and AirAsia. Am I going to stay a day in KL. Hmmm… haven’t decided yet. I am going to use the bus. Where am I going to stay if I planning to stay in KL. Bintang Warisan? I wish I was Danny with his 10 or 12 friends plotting to do something.

To decide quickly is what I have to do. (Does that sound like yoda?) And time is ticking away to the date, if I ever decided to go to KL and Langkawi again.

I’m using this term monkeys to explain the actions of bunches of the management level where most of them are monkeys who will spit out anything to satisfy them but they refuse to listen any reasons us. To us employees, they are the monkeys who will scream, talk and curse without giving the employees any chances to reply or give their reasons.

Try to answer questions from monkeys. We can’t because we don’t understand the questions. In recent events that happend in this (stupid) organization, I feel that I am reliving the story Animal Farm where there’s no equality between the employee and employers where the latter group will always in a position where they are correct in any situation and the employee is the one to be blamed.

But in the story Animal Farm, the upper group are discribed as pigs. Well, most employers are pigs really. Enough said.

Kuching, 14 Nov 2007, Wed. – It’s been a long time since I updated my blog. Well it was before Ramadan when I left my blog unattended and it suddenly got corrupted and I can’t open it anymore. I managed to save all my blogs and here it is. The Zahir.

What did happen in these two and a half months. I am here in Kuching, didn’t go anywhere or do anything interesting. Life was a bit mundane (when did I learn to use big words. Next thing you know I’ll be saying afrodisiac). Anyways, I was busy doing nothing after Raya with just trying to adjust my life altogether and try not to eat too much with the open houses and all those stuff.

In November tough, I was busy making new logo for my society. It was quite a while before I have the inspiration to create something rather nice and special for the society. Much as it is, I love doing those stuff like making logos and graphics of all sorts. But with my writing and doing nothing ** sometimes it just hinder you to do it much more.

Well after this (I haven’t finish making my logo even though the initial logo is finish), I plan to busy myself with the society’s bulletin. It’s our bi-yearly bulletin design by yours one and only.

Okay, its the middle of November and next month will be the month where people will celebrate coming the new year. I have at least 6 days of my annual leave and I can’t think of a place to go. Actually its many, but because of financial constrain, I can’t think of a place where I can relax without hurting my pockets. And staying in my room during my annual leave is not my plan to relax myself.

I need to go somewhere. Somewhere cheap. Most probably I will be spending my time in my room for my holiday if I can’t think of any alternatives.
